The China Clipper Band concept was inspired by this crew.
Our producer developed a live-theater concert series with a consortium of musicians and storytellers, which ultimately served as the in house orchestra, called--The China Clipper Band. The program was broadcast live from a historic theater in the Pacific Northwest in 2001. The project itself was cut short when the family of our co-producer was killed in a plane crash. Though the project was well received by the public, that catastrophy understandably took the wind out of the sails of everyone involved. We are proud to announce that many of those recorded programs will be ready for release in broadcast media in 2012 as Americana music--The Publisher

John became the narator for the live radio program known as , "Our Search for the Northwest Passage". His naratives became the corner post for much of the development.
